Céline Elie

Bioinformatics Manager at SeqOne Genomics

Céline Elie has been working in the field of bioinformatics since 2012. In 2012, they completed a stage at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) involving the modeling of a genetic regulation network. In 2013, they completed a three-month internship at Kingston University, where they conducted a bioinformatics study on crystallins to design a model explaining their evolution. In 2014, they completed a stage at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research involving meta-analysis of transcriptome data, as well as an engineering internship at the Institut de Génétique Humaine, where they analyzed next-generation sequencing data on human cell lines. Since 2015, they have been working at BIOASTER as an engineer in bioinformatics, analyzing next-generation sequencing data in metagenomics, genomics, and transcriptomics. In 2020, they joined SeqOne Genomics as a Technical Project Manager and Engineer in Bioinformatics.

Céline Elie completed a Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles - BCPST at Lycée Corneille - Rouen from 2008 to 2010, majoring in Biologie-Chimie-Physique-Sciences de la Terre. Céline then went on to receive their Diplome d'ingénieur in Bioinformatics from Polytech'Nice-Sophia between 2010 and 2014.
