Uro L. is an experienced Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities since July 2022, focusing on Alt Data Alpha. Previous roles include serving as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, where Uro conducted research on Revenue-Maximizing Auctions, which was accepted in AISTATS 2022. Uro was the Co-President of the Smith Investment Fund from September 2018 to December 2021, concentrating on systematic strategy research. Additional internships at Facebook included work as a Software Engineer Intern on Assistant Question Answering and Civic Integrity projects, as well as a quantitative research internship at Millennium Management LLC targeting systematic VIX and options strategies.
