Stéphanie Dudonné has a diverse work experience in the field of phytochemistry and plant metabolomics. Stéphanie is currently working as a project leader in the development of nutrition active ingredients at SEPPIC since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Assistant Professor in Phytochemistry at INAF - Laval University from February 2019 to August 2022. In this role, they initiated and managed research projects in phytochemistry and plant metabolomics, taught plant biology and phytochemistry, and was a member of the NSERC-Diana Foods Chair on the prebiotic effect of fruits and vegetables.
Before joining INAF - Laval University, Stéphanie worked as a research project manager in Phytochemistry from July 2014 to December 2018, and as a postdoctoral researcher in Phytochemistry from August 2011 to June 2014, both at INAF - Laval University. During these roles, they were involved in various research projects and contributed to the advancement of phytochemistry.
Stéphanie also had experience as a postdoctoral researcher at Polyphenols Biotech from March 2010 to February 2011, where they focused on the valorization of bioactive compounds from industrial wood residues through the development of extraction and purification processes of plant metabolites for industrial collaborators. Prior to that, they worked as a PhD student at BIOLANDES from October 2006 to December 2009.
Overall, Stéphanie Dudonné has a strong background in phytochemistry, plant metabolomics, and research project management. Stéphanie has made significant contributions to the field through their research, teaching, and industry collaborations.
Stéphanie Dudonné holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology and Plant Physiology from the Université de Tours, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Plant Biotechnologies from the Université de Bordeaux from 2004 to 2006. Stéphanie then continued their education at the same institution, earning a PhD in Phytochemistry from 2006 to 2009.
