Victor Guatelli has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Victor is currently serving as the Team Lead Business Development Technical at Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc since December 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Team Lead OML40 West at Eland Oil & Gas from January 2019 to December 2020.

Before joining Eland Oil & Gas, Victor worked at Addax Petroleum where they held various roles. From September 2013 to December 2018, they served as the Head Technical Assurance. Victor also held the position of OML 126 Asset Manager from September 2011 to September 2013 and Senior Production Technologist from July 2008 to September 2011.

Earlier in their career, Victor worked at Advanced Well Technologies as the UK Operations Manager/Senior Engineer from July 2006 to July 2008 and as a Senior Engineer from September 2000 to July 2006. Victor also served as the Non Executive Director at Alba Resources from January 2003 to July 2005.

Victor started their career at Santos Ltd as a Senior Petroleum Engineer from January 1999 to September 2000. Victor also gained experience as a Petroleum Engineer at ExxonMobil from October 1995 to January 1999.

Victor Guatelli pursued their education in a systematic manner by completing their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, during the academic year 1994-1995.
