Mathias Herberts has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Mathias co-founded SenX in 2018 and currently serves as a Disruptive Engineer, Chief Technology Officer, and Co-Founder. Mathias also worked as a Mentor at 33entrepreneurs starting from 2013. In 2011, Mathias became an Investor and Technical Advisor at CO2 Account. Prior to that, they were the Founder of GeoXP since October 2009. Mathias has been lecturing at Télécom Bretagne since 1997, covering topics such as WebScale Computing and BigData. Mathias co-founded Cityzen Data in 2013 and served as a Disruptive Engineer, Chief Technology Officer, and Co-Founder until October 2018. Mathias was an Advisor at B.Sensory from January 2015 to February 2018. At Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, they held the positions of Disruptive Engineer - BigData Advocate from March 2011 to June 2013 and Disruptive Engineer from March 2009 to February 2011. Additionally, Mathias founded Bibale in 2008, an online service for sharing books, CDs, DVDs, and video games. Mathias was also a Co-creator at LePotiron in December 2009.

Mathias Herberts began their education at Woodland High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 1989. Mathias then attended Lycée Bellevue in Le Mans from 1989 to 1990, where they received their Baccalauréat degree with a focus on the field of study "C". Continuing their education, Mathias enrolled at Lycée Buffon in Paris from 1990 to 1991, specializing in Mathematics & Physics in the CPGE - Sup2 program. Mathias further pursued their interests in Mathematics & Physics at Lycée Saint-Louis in Paris from 1991 to 1993 in the CPGE - M'3 program. In 1993, Mathias joined Telecom Bretagne, where they completed their MSc in Computer Science from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, Mathias attended Université de Rennes I from 1995 to 1996, attaining their DEA degree in Computer Science.
