Fuyao Zhao is a Co-Founder at Sentio XYZ, specializing in Web 3 Infrastructure and SaaS since 2022. Previously, Fuyao held the position of Tech Lead/Principal Engineer II at Elastic, where responsibilities included integrating Code Search into the Elastic stack and enhancing code semantic awareness in Observability. As a Co-Founder at Insight.io, Fuyao developed a semantic-aware code search engine for enterprises, leading fundraising efforts and team building before the acquisition by Elastic. Fuyao's early career includes work as a Software Engineer at Google, focusing on scaling Google's internal build systems and integrating Android development tools, as well as an internship at Amazon addressing customer service agent behavior detection and a research assistant role at Carnegie Mellon University. Fuyao holds a Master of Science in Computational Data Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Central South University.
