Johannes Wiig is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in radar systems, autonomous systems, and technological innovation. Currently serving as a Senior Radar System Specialist at Sensrad since January 2023, Wiig previously held the position of Senior System Engineer at Qamcom Research and Technology, focusing on autonomous systems perception and navigation. Wiig has also contributed as CTO and Lead Engineer at Urban Oasis, overseeing technical development for innovative plant production, and as a co-founder and CTO at Gnome, where strategic direction was provided for sensorization in agriculture. Additional roles include significant engineering positions at organizations like Six Degrees of Freedom LLC, CIRES, NOAA/University of Colorado, and the Arecibo Observatory. Wiig holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Remote Sensing from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by a degree in Space Technology and Electronics from Umeå University.
