Carlos Callejero has a strong background in technical and business development roles. Carlos co-founded Digitanimal in 2017, where they serve as the Cofounder Business Development. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of SensoWave since 2014, focusing on providing solutions using new technologies. Carlos also worked as the Technical Manager at Alfa Imaging S.A. from 2006 to 2014, developing millimeter-wave systems. Carlos began their career as an Optical Engineer at Telefonica I+D in 2005 and later worked as an Optical Quality Control Engineer at Symons Mirror Technology from 2003 to 2004.

Carlos Callejero's education history began in 1995 when they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics at Universidad de Zaragoza. Carlos completed this program in 2002. In 2002, Carlos went on to attend the University of Reading, where they obtained a Master's degree in Applied and Modern Optics. This program lasted from 2002 to 2003.

After completing their Master's degree, Carlos continued their studies at the University of Reading. Carlos pursued a PhD in Physics, which they completed in 2010. Following this, in 2012, Carlos attended the Institute d'Optique, where they participated in a training course called SMETHODS in Optical Design for Imaging Optics.
