Pierre Rambeau has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical research. Pierre is currently working as a Preclinical Scientist at Sensorion, where they are involved in the preclinical development of gene therapies to restore auditory function in mouse models. Their responsibilities include identifying and genotyping cell lines, performing surgeries, and conducting audiometric measurements.
Before joining Sensorion, Pierre worked at the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle as a Project Research Manager from October 2016 to December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Researcher at the same institute from April 2015 to March 2016.
In 2012, Pierre was a Student Member of the iGEM Bordeaux 2013 team at the iGEM Foundation. Here, they worked on synthetic biology projects, including the design of metabolic pathways and bacterial experimentation. Pierre was also involved in sponsor research and science communication.
In addition, Pierre has worked as a Research Mission Officer at the "Rare Diseases: Genetics and Metabolism" Laboratory. Pierre held this position twice, from April to May 2012 and from January to June 2013.
Overall, Pierre Rambeau has a strong background in preclinical research, project management, and genetic and metabolic studies. Pierre has also demonstrated their abilities in synthetic biology and science communication.
Pierre Rambeau has a strong educational background in the field of biology. Pierre first attended the University of Montpellier from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Doctorat degree in Biology. Prior to that, they pursued their Master's degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Bordeaux between 2011 and 2013. Pierre also completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Bordeaux, earning a Licence degree in Cellular Biology and Physiology from 2008 to 2011.
In addition to their formal education, Pierre Rambeau has obtained certifications in the field. In 2015, they received a Habilitation in Animal Experimentation Level 2 from IUT MONTPELLIER-SETE. In 2022, they obtained a regulatory training in Experimental Surgery from Animaform.
