Johannes Hillbrand has a diverse range of work experience in various research and engineering roles. Johannes started their most recent role as an R&D Engineer at Sensirion in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a PostDoc at ETH Zürich from November 2020 to October 2021. Before that, they were a Researcher at Technische Universität Wien from September 2017 to October 2020. In 2019, they worked as a Research Associate at Harvard University for a brief period from September to December. Additionally, they gained experience as an R&D Intern at Hilti Group from July to October 2014.

Johannes Hillbrand began their education in 2003 when they attended BG Feldkirch, where they completed their Matura in an unspecified field of study in 2011. Johannes went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Technische Physik at Technische Universität Wien from 2012 to 2015.
