Stacey Fortin has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security. They began their career in 2005 with the Rhode Island Air National Guard, where they held roles as a Classified Systems/Network Administrator and a Communications Focal Point Administrator. In 2014, they transitioned to the private sector and worked as an Information Security Analyst at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island. They then moved on to Hasbro as a Senior IT Security Analyst in 2016 and Boston Children's Hospital as a Cyber Security professional in 2017. From 2018 to 2022, they served as a Cyber Security Analyst at RANE (Risk Assistance Network + Exchange). More recently, they worked at Christmas Tree Shops as a Manager of Compliance & Information Security from 2022-2023. Currently, Stacey holds the position of Director of Cyber Security at Sensata Technologies, starting in 2023. Stacey's work experience covers various aspects of cyber security and spans both public and private sectors.
Stacey Fortin earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communications Studies from the University of Rhode Island from 2004 to 2011. During the same period, they also obtained an Associate in Applied Science in Electronic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. In 2015 to 2018, Stacey pursued a Professional Science Master's Degree in Cyber Security at the University of Rhode Island. Stacey has additional certifications, including a Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) accreditation from the PCI Security Standards Council obtained in September 2022, GSTRT from the SANS Institute obtained in March 2018, GCIH from the SANS Institute obtained in January 2018, Certified Ethical Hacker from the EC-Council obtained in 2011, and Security+ from CompTIA obtained in 2010.
