Sheikh Fakhar Khalid is an accomplished data leader and expert in geospatial intelligence, currently serving as the Head of Data at Sensat since October 2017. In this role, Sheikh Fakhar oversees the company's data strategy, ensuring the integrity and innovative use of data across projects. Prior to this, Sheikh Fakhar held key positions as Chief Scientist at Spatial Symmetry, CEO & Chief Spatial Scientist, and Data Scientist at SparkCognition, among other roles in academia and consulting. With significant teaching experience at various universities, including as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Greenwich, Sheikh Fakhar has a strong educational background with a PhD in GIS and Soft Computing from the University of Greenwich and multiple degrees in Geographic Information Systems and Computer Science.
