Derek Ramsey is a seasoned Software Engineering Manager at Sensaphone, overseeing a diverse team that includes embedded software engineers, software engineers, web developers, and system administrators since November 2002. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer, focusing on Windows, Linux, and embedded software development, as well as server administration. Additionally, Derek has worked as a Freelance Photographer since 2005, specializing in portrait, nature, and stock photography. Prior to Sensaphone, Derek served as an Application Developer at Dise Enterprises, specializing in Visual FoxPro 6.0 for custom accounting software. Derek holds a Master’s Degree in Software Development and Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, both from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
