Georgios Methenitis is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at sennder since February 2023, specializing in the ideation and prototyping of machine learning pricing algorithms and the productionization of models for cost prediction. Previously, Georgios worked at FREENOW as a Data Scientist focused on dynamic pricing algorithms for ride-hailing markets, data transformation, statistical hypothesis testing, and stakeholder communication. Experience also includes a role as a Senior Data Scientist in machine learning applications for insurance markets and a PhD candidacy at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, concentrating on strategic agent interactions in electricity markets. Additional roles encompass internships and software development in robotic systems and AI-driven projects. Georgios holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Delft University of Technology, a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam, and a Diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete.
