Scott Sexton has had a long and varied career in the IT industry. From 1993 to 1998, they worked as a Programmer/Analyst at PepsiCo Food Systems. In 1998, they were promoted to IT Manager at Ameriserve Distribution Company. In 2000, they moved to McLane Company, where they served as IT Manager, managing a team of developers and analysts responsible for supporting electronic order gathering. From 2005 to 2009, they worked as a Business Systems Analyst at Flint Hills Resources, before becoming President and Vice President of Technology at SendThisFile, Inc. in 2009.

Scott Sexton obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wichita State University between 1989 and 1994. Scott also attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
