Esra Altay has a strong background in finance, with experience in various roles. Esra most recently worked as a Finance Specialist at Sendeo since November 2022. Prior to that, they held a similar role at Aksa Jeneratör from December 2021 to November 2022. Esra also worked as a Finance Specialist at Kaptan Demir Çelik End. ve Tic. A.Ş. from April 2019 to December 2021, and at Özen from July 2018 to April 2019. Esra gained experience as a Finance Specialist at Senkroma Boyar Madde San Tic A.Ş. from February 2016 to February 2017. Earlier in their career, Esra worked at QNB Finansbank as a Bireysel Bankacılık Portföy Temsilcisi from December 2015 to February 2016, and as a Gişe Sorumlusu from July 2013 to December 2015. Esra began their career as a Stajyer at Yapı Kredi Sigorta in July 2012.

Esra Altay completed their Master's degree in Accounting and Finance at Marmara University from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Pedagogical Formation program at Istanbul University from 2017 to 2018. Esra holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University, which they earned from 2013 to 2017. Esra also has a diploma in Banking and Finance from Giresun University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Esra obtained a certification in "Payment Methods in Foreign Trade" from İMMİB Akademi in March 2022. Esra also completed a certification program on "Bringing Export Revenues to the Country - New Regulations" at İMMİB Akademi in December 2021. In April 2018, they attained the "Labor Law and Social Security Expert" certification from Istanbul Aydın University. Esra also holds a certification in "Computerized Accounting" from Brussels Capital University, which they acquired in October 2016. In September 2015, they completed the "Segem" certification program at the Insurance Education Center.
