Erick Sperandio is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of artificial intelligence. Currently serving as an Associate Professor (Reader) in Artificial Intelligence for Clean Air at the Surrey Institute for People-Centred AI, University of Surrey, UK, since August 2022, Erick also holds a position as Professor Associado and Pesquisador Líder at SENAI CIMATEC since March 2018. As the founder of Vitória Software since February 2010, Erick has undertaken various roles including systems analyst, software engineer, and project manager. Past experiences include serving as a Solutions Architect at GRUPO PENTAGO BRASIL in 2015 and several positions at EcoSoft from 2000 to 2010. Erick holds a doctorate in Environmental Engineering with a focus on Atmospheric Computational Modeling, a master's degree in Computer Science specializing in Computational Intelligence, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, all from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo.
