Simon Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Simon started their career at Philips Semiconductor in 1984 as a Principle Test Engineer and worked there until 1995. Simon then joined Credence in 1994 as an Applications Engineer and stayed until 1998. From 1998 to 2000, they worked at Smartest GmbH as an Application Engineer. In 2000, Simon joined Semtech as the VP of Test & Product Engineering and held that position until 2011. Simon then became the VP and GM of the Hi-Rel Business Unit until 2015. From 2015 to 2024, Simon served as the VP and GM of the Power and High Reliability Product Groups. Currently, they hold the position of VP Manufacturing NPI, PMO and Eng Ops at Semtech.
