Ryan Foran has worked as a Principal IC Design Engineer for Renesas Electronics since August 2019. Prior to that, they held the same role at Semtech from April 2011. From November 2003 to May 2011, Foran was a Principal IC Design Engineer at International Rectifier. Before that, they worked as an IC Design Engineer at Arques Technology from April 2002 to November 2003. Ryan also worked at Semtech as an IC Design Engineer from January 1999 to April 2002, at Adaptec as an IC Design Engineer from April 1998 to January 1999, and at Analog Devices as an IC Design Engineer from May 1993 to April 1998.

Ryan Foran attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1990 to 1993 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on analog circuits.
