Raza Khan

Director Of Marketing, Wireless at Semtech

Raza Khan has a diverse work experience that spans over 17 years. Raza began their career at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada as a Research Assistant, where they worked on the design and programming of a novel spot resistance welding machine. After that, they had an internship at Gennum Corporation, where they gained hands-on experience in designing high-speed PCB boards.

In 2006, Raza joined Western University for their final year project, where they worked on the development of a hydroxy water fuel cell. This project required interdisciplinary collaboration and special approvals from various engineering departments.

From 2008 to 2014, Raza worked at Semtech Corporation – Gennum Products, where they served in various roles including Senior Engineer, Project Lead, Project Manager, and Product Line Manager. Raza excelled in validation and characterization of Analog & Mixed-Signal IC Devices and developed tools and products that improved business efficiency.

Since 2014, Raza has been with Semtech, initially as a Senior Market Manager focusing on wireless products, and later as Director of Marketing for wireless. Raza has led the successful roll-out of next-generation 5G x-haul architectures, developed innovative product marketing strategies, and contributed to the company's technology roadmap.

Throughout their career, Raza has demonstrated skills in product management, strategy development, cross-functional team leadership, innovation, and excellent communication and presentation. Raza has a track record of success in driving innovation, identifying growth opportunities, and exceeding customer expectations.

Raza Khan pursued a Masters of Business Administration degree from McMaster University, specializing in Strategic Marketing and Management of Innovation and Technology. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from Western University.
