Joseph Luccisano has extensive work experience in cloud backend engineering and operations. Joseph currently serves as a Principal Engineer at Semtech, where they lead a team and is responsible for designing a scalable event-driven architecture from scratch to the cloud. Joseph develops microservices using Clojure and Docker, and utilizes Kubernetes on AWS. Joseph is also well-versed in continuous delivery with Github Actions and Helm.

Prior to their current role, Joseph held positions at Sierra Wireless, where they worked as a Senior Staff Engineer and a Staff Engineer in cloud backend engineering and operations. At EVS Broadcast Equipment, they worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer, contributing to the design of a distributed architecture for media file processing.

In their earlier career, Joseph worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Néo-Soft Services, where they led a team of developers and served as a SCRUM Master. Joseph has also worked as an M2M Engineer at Sierra Wireless, designing B2C solutions for monitoring connected objects.

Additionally, Joseph has experience as a Java/J2EE/Flex engineer at Photobox and Intech SA. Joseph is proficient in various technologies, including Java, Spring, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, AngularJS, GWT, Git, Maven, Grunt, REST, and Bootstrap.

Joseph Luccisano received their DUT in Computer Science from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1 in 2006. Joseph then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Networks and Electronics at the same university from 2006 to 2007. Joseph furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Networks and Electronics from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1, which they completed in 2009.
