Brian McDonough, M.A. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Brian is currently a Team Lead in Americas Account Management at Semrush, a position they have held since January 2023. Before that, they founded and served as a Content Creator for State of Soccer TV starting in June 2021.

Brian also has significant experience with Otis Elevator Co., where they held several roles including Regional Sales Manager, Branch Sales Manager, Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, and OQS Sales Trainee. Brian'stenure at Otis Elevator Co. started in December 2016 and ended in January 2023.

In addition, Brian founded Sports Business Review in June 2020, where they were responsible for podcasting, content creation, and overall management until April 2021.

Earlier in their career, Brian worked as a Media Relations Intern for the Pittsburgh Penguins from August 2015 to January 2016, and as an Operations Planning & Administration Intern for Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. in 2015.

Brian gained experience in digital media sales consulting at Traffic Effect from January 2015 to April 2015. Brian also interned as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Impact Hub Network in Berlin, Germany during the summer of 2014.

Furthermore, Brian worked as a Kayak Instructor, Surf Instructor, and Camp Counselor at Tidal Trails from June 2012 to August 2013, and as a Market Research Intern at Exeter Property Group in May and June 2013.

Brian McDonough, M.A. holds a Master's of Professional Studies degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. Prior to this, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing and a minor in European History, from the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration. Brian also graduated from Malvern Preparatory School with a High School Diploma.
