William Simmons has extensive experience in the field of cyber security and information technology. William started their career at Georgia-Pacific LLC in 1996 as a Technical Consultant for SAP, and moved up to roles such as IT Manager for Remote Technical Support and Process Technology Group. In 2010, they joined Koch Business Solutions, LP as a Sr. Security Solutions Analyst. Currently, they are serving as the Sr. Cyber Security Analyst (Lead) at Seminole Electric Cooperative since 2012, where they lead various cyber security functions and risk management efforts.

William Simmons completed their Certificate in Avionic Navigational Systems at the USAF School of Applied Aerospace Sciences, Keesler AFB. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Liberal Arts - Science at Oakland Community College from 1980 to 1982. William then continued their education at Michigan Technological University, earning a B.S. in Wood Science with a Business Option from 1982 to 1985.
