Mark Conway has a diverse work experience in law enforcement. Mark began their career as a Deputy Sheriff at the Alachua County Sheriff's Office in 1997 and later joined the City of Winter Springs as a Police Officer in 1999. In 2002, they transitioned to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff and served in various roles, including Investigator, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Chief of Staff, and currently holds the position of Chief of Investigative Services since February 2021.

Mark Conway completed the Administrative Officers Course at the Southern Police Institute in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia College between 2008 and 2012.
