Margaret Briseño has a diverse work experience spanning many years. Margaret began their career as a Freelance Writer, Photographer, and Graphic Designer at byandmarge media. Margaret then worked as a Business Operations Manager at Apptimize, Inc. In 2015, they joined JUST (formerly Hampton Creek) as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Following this, they worked at thredUP in various roles, including Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner and Human Resources Business Partner. Their next position was at Semgrep, where they held roles such as Senior Recruiter, Head of Talent Acquisition, and eventually, Head of People. Currently, they are a Member at Knoetic | CPOHQ. Margaret's experience has allowed their to develop skills in talent acquisition, HR, people operations, and program analysis tools for software security.

Margaret Briseño obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing from DePauw University. Margaret attended the university from 2009 to 2013. In 2021, they completed a program in Organization Development & Change at UC Berkeley Extension. Additionally, Margaret Briseño obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in February 2021.
