Sergio Petroncini is a skilled CAE engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently employed at Semcon since 2014, where engagement involves various CAE assignments focused on static and dynamic simulations, structural verifications, and crash tests using tools such as ANSA, Abaqus PAM-CRASH, and LS-DYNA. Prior experience includes a Master Thesis at Volvo Car Corporation, which involved the development and analysis of a new bumper beam system, as well as a CAE engineer role at Volvo Car Group. Sergio holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University, completed in 2013.
