Sasidhar Pinnamaneni is an accomplished design engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Group Design Lead at Volvo Cars since September 2018, focusing on special vehicles for police use. Prior roles at Volvo include Team Lead for Self Certification and Lead Design Engineer for Vehicle Integration and Prototype, where responsibilities encompassed flammability reports and project leadership for a Mule project. Sasidhar's earlier experience includes work as a Senior Engineer and Design Engineer at Semcon, contributing to various projects and thesis work aimed at enhancing vehicle functionality. A former Director and Co-Founder of Flyers Tech Engineering, which specialized in aluminum recycling, Sasidhar holds a Master’s degree in Product Development from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
