Cassandra Verras, GISP, currently serves as a GIS Analyst III and Application Developer at SEMCOG since September 2021. Previously, Cassandra held positions as a Senior GIS Specialist and GIS Specialist at Giffels Webster from March 2019 to September 2021, and as a GIS Technician at Johnson & Anderson, Inc. from October 2016 to March 2019. Earlier experience includes roles as a Planning Associate and Sustainability Consultant at Zachary & Associates, Inc. from April 2014 to October 2016 and a Supplemental Instructor in Physical Geography at Oakland Community College in early 2014. Cassandra earned a Master of Science in GIS Development and Cartography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2020 and May 2022, following a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Eastern Michigan University, completed in 2014.
