Carl Thompson is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in various creative roles. Currently serving as Senior Creative Lead and Digital Designer at Semaphore Family of Companies since November 2021, Carl also holds the position of Founder and Creative Director at Squall Design Studios, established in 2017. With a diverse portfolio as a freelance contractor since 2006, Carl has developed branding and marketing materials tailored to client needs. Additionally, Carl has contributed to the Ski and Snowboard Club Vail as a U16 Racing Ski Coach and Big Mountain Ski Coach since 2007, fostering the development of student athletes. Previous roles include Design Director at Banyan Batiks from June 2020 to November 2021, where Carl coordinated design projects and produced photography, as well as a stint as Design, Advertising, Marketing Coordinator at Crow Publications in 2021. Carl's early experience also includes digital design and marketing coordination at AlwaysMountainTime, LLC from 2018 to June 2020. Carl holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Colorado State University, earned from 1999 to 2003.
