Laura Jackson has been working in the software engineering field since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical Claims Specialist at Nationwide Insurance from 2010 to 2014 and as a Bodily Injury Claims Specialist at Liberty Mutual Insurance from 2006 to 2010. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Developer and DevOps Engineer at iFit - fitness technology. In this role, they worked on a variety of projects including server side (Node. js, MongoDB) and front end (React/Redux) development. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SemanticBits. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Software Engineer at ICF.

Laura Jackson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Florida State University between 2011 and 2013. Laura also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Science from The University of Georgia between 2003 and 2006. Additionally, they hold the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
