Mikko Ervasti started their work experience in 2010 as a Course Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology. Mikko then became a Doctoral Candidate from July 2011 to December 2016. In 2017, they co-founded Sellforte, a company that provides software to optimize marketing and campaigns. Mikko served as the Chief Science Officer at Sellforte.

Mikko Ervasti began their education in 2002 at Ressu High School, where they obtained the Finnish Matriculation Examination in 2005. Following this, they attended Aalto University from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science (Technology) in Engineering Physics and Mathematics. Mikko then continued their education at Aalto University from 2006 to 2011, obtaining a Master of Science (Technology) in Engineering Physics and Mathematics. Finally, Mikko completed their highest level of education at Aalto University from 2011 to 2016, earning a Doctor of Science (Technology) degree in Engineering Physics, specializing in Theoretical and Computational Physics.
