Diego Vicéns has extensive experience in finance and treasury roles. Diego currently serves as the VP Finance/Treasurer at Selina, where they are responsible for creating and executing the treasury roadmap, overseeing liquidity management, implementing an FX and hedging program, and driving system improvements. Previously, they worked at Laureate International Universities as the Head of Treasury, leading the transformation and development of a regional finance service center. Diego also served as the Finance Director at FCC Construcción and the Treasury Director for Laureate universities in Europe. Earlier in their career, they held positions at DRAGADOS, MATLOCK BANK, Stage Entertainment, Merrill Lynch, and SAINCO SA, where they gained experience in areas such as project finance, financial analysis, and accounting.
Diego Vicéns has a Bachelor's degree in Business from Universidad de Alcalá, which they obtained between 1991 and 1996. Diego also has a High School Diploma from Colegio Retamar, which they received between 1980 and 1991. In terms of additional certifications, Diego Vicéns completed a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF) in 1999. Diego has also obtained certifications in "MIT Digital Business Strategy: Harnessing Our Digital Future" from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2021 and "Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials" from LinkedIn in 2018.
