Derrekk Wilson has over 10 years of work experience. Derrekk began their career in 2011 as a Site Coordinator for BE A CHAMPION, INC., where they implemented and established new after-school and summer enrichment programs, established positive relationships with students, parents, fellow teachers and school administrators, and successfully met strict deadlines and government regulations under Title I. In 2015, they joined Hunton Group as an HVAC Parts/Shipping and Receiving, where they created a more efficient way to handle inbound and outbound freight shipments including UPS/FedEx, routinely maintained accurate M/S, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc., and successfully managed production activities so all orders were shipped on time. In 2018, Derrekk became the VP of Sales for Selffee. In 2019, they began working at Costco Wholesale as a Tire Sales, where they developed and maintained customer relationships utilizing basic customer experience strategies while engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner to build trust and respect, provided answers to basic customer inquiries, troubleshot and diagnosed technical/ product issues, determined customer needs and expectations, empowered customers with the knowledge and tools necessary to "Select the Right Tire" for their needs and budget, and validated product requirements such as sizing, fitment and safety standards. Most recently, Derrekk joined Teachers On Reserve as a Substitute Teacher in 2022.

Derrekk Wilson attended Cypress Creek High School from 2002 to 2006 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Prairie View A&M University in 2021.
