Chris LaConte is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate strategy and development. Currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Self Financial, Inc. since October 2020, Chris is responsible for driving corporate strategy and enabling consumer financial independence, including leading the acquisition of RentTrack, Inc. Prior to this role, Chris was Chief Strategy Officer at SpyCloud, contributing significantly to the company's growth from pre-revenue to over $10 million in annual recurring revenue. Chris also held senior positions at Green Dot Corporation, focusing on emerging growth and business development strategies, and at Higher One, where Chris managed corporate development, including multiple M&A transactions and strategic partnerships. Chris holds bachelor’s degrees in Marketing from Southern Connecticut State University and in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
