Joy Aderele currently serves as the Country Director at Self Help Africa, overseeing operations in Nigeria with a focus on strategic alignment and impactful programming. Previously, Joy was a Senior Technical Advisor at the World Bank, providing essential support on a significant women's project. Prior roles at Mercy Corps included Program Director for multiple initiatives, Deputy Programs Lead, and School to Work Advisor, where Joy excelled in project management and youth empowerment. Joy has also held positions at Society for Family Health Nigeria, the Centre for Learning and Strategic Studies, and the Association for Reproductive and Family Health, demonstrating a strong commitment to women's health and youth development. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Ibadan and a leadership training course at Harvard University.
