Alastair Kerr is a seasoned educator and musician with extensive experience in music performance and teaching. Currently serving as a Drum Teacher at Melbourne Grammar School and Ensemble Director at Monash University, Alastair has held multiple roles in various educational institutions, including conducting symphonic and stage bands at Northcote High School. As a self-employed editor, Alastair has contributed to music education texts since 2017. As Musical Director of Panorama Brasil, Alastair has composed, arranged, and performed in numerous prominent events and festivals, including works presented at the Melbourne Recital Centre. Alastair holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Music Performance from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz from The Australian National University.
