Daniel Lockwood is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Coverage Counsel at Selective Insurance since January 2023. Prior to this role, Daniel held positions at Kennedys from August 2019 to January 2023, including Partner and Senior Associate. Daniel also worked as a Senior Associate Attorney at Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons L.L.P. from April 2018 to July 2019, and as an Associate Attorney at Langley LLP from August 2015 to March 2018. Earlier in the career, Daniel served as an Appellate Attorney at the Second & Thirteenth Court of Appeals from 2012 to 2015. Daniel obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Pepperdine Law (2009-2012), a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin (2006-2009), and a Diploma in Biblical Studies from Southwest School of Bible Studies (2002-2004).
