Lorna Marshall has held various roles in the field of beef genetics throughout their career. Lorna started in 1995 at ABS Global Inc. as a Manager of Beef Sire Acquisition, where they worked until 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they served as the AVP of Beef Genetics at Genex Cooperative, Inc. and Cooperative Resources International. In 2016, they joined Select Sires Inc. as the VP of Beef Genetics. Lorna also has ownership of the Marshall Cattle Company since 2000.
Lorna Marshall has a diverse education history spanning various fields of study. In 1987, they attended Colby Community College and obtained an Associates of Science degree in Animal Science. Lorna then continued their education at Kansas State University from 1989 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Industry. Following that, from 1991 to 1993, Lorna pursued a Master's degree in Animal Breeding and Genetics at Colorado State University. More recently, in 2019, they attended Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management for an executive leadership development program.
