Whitney Okafor is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently working at Select Rehabilitation since May 2022. Previous experience includes a Level II Fieldwork position at Atrium Medical Center, where Whitney developed an evidence-based resource folder aimed at improving executive functioning skills in the geriatric population and facilitated occupation-based strategies for over 70 residents with neurological impairments. Whitney also completed a Level II Fieldwork at Forest Hills Care Center, collaborating with an inter-disciplinary team to improve functional performance for residents and conducting patient evaluations. Prior to these roles, Whitney worked as a Rehabilitation Technician at Encompass Health, assisting with rehabilitation treatment and maintaining therapy facilities. Whitney holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Health Science in Pre-Occupational Therapy from the same institution.
