Fernando Brito is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in data engineering and full-stack development. Currently a Staff Software Engineer (Consultant) at SELECT, Fernando previously held roles as a Staff Data Engineer at Voi Technology, where responsibilities included acting as Tech Lead for the Data Platform team, mentoring engineers, and driving cross-department initiatives. Fernando's career also encompasses full-stack positions at various companies, including Natural Cycles and OpenGov Inc., where skills in SQL optimization, ETL/ELT pipelines, and software architecture were leveraged. Fernando holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal da Paraíba and has studied at the University of Skövde and Eindhoven University of Technology.
