Angela Sterread is an experienced Union Representative at SEIU Local 1, contributing to the labour movement for over 23 years. With a background in the healthcare sector, Angela has worked in long-term care for more than 17 years and completed Labour Relations studies at Ryerson University in 2021. Previous roles include a position in the Recreation Department at West Park Healthcare Centre and a professional membership with Therapeutic Recreation of Ontario. Education includes studies at Ryerson University from April 2004 to October 2005 and ongoing coursework at George Brown College since December 2002. Angela demonstrates a strong commitment to social justice and activism.
