Andy Whalen is an experienced product management leader with a diverse background in technology and media. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Management at Seismic since December 2019, Andy previously held multiple product management roles at Percolate Inc. from August 2015 to December 2019, culminating as Director of Platform Product Management. As Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer at Wiser, a news aggregation app, Andy played a key role in product strategy and team growth from 2011 to 2015. Additional experience includes consulting for the Interamerican Association for Environmental Defense, co-founding the Verdant Collective, and working as a Correspondent for the Associated Press, where Andy reported on critical issues in Peru. Andy holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
