Phani Karra has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Phani co-founded Inspiredge IT Solutions in 2011 and served as the CEO & Co-Founder. In this role, they led the organization, focused on business strategy, growth, client relations, and partnerships. Phani also worked closely with the service delivery function to ensure operational excellence. Prior to Inspiredge, they co-founded Seismic, LLC in 2010 and served as the COO & Co-Founder. Here, they were responsible for solutioning, operational development, global operations strategy, and technology enablement. Phani has also held roles as a strategist and board member in other companies such as Serv360 and Bluenumber Foundation. Additionally, they founded WitsLea IT Solutions in 2007 and served as the CEO & Founder, providing operational consulting and ITES services. Phani started their career at Knoah Solutions in 2001 and served as a team manager, gaining experience in operations, quality, training, and people management. Phani Karra's expertise spans various industries, including technology, outsourcing, and sustainability.

Phani Karra has a diverse education history. In 2020, they attended MIT Professional Education, where they completed a program titled "Digital Transformation: From AI and IoT to Cloud, Blockchain and Cybersecurity" in the field of Information Technology. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, Phani attended XLRI Jamshedpur, where they pursued an Executive MBA with a focus on Organization Behavior & Strategic Management. Phani also earned a Master's degree in Information Technology (MSc IT) from Allahabad Agricultural Institute between 2001 and 2003. Earlier in their education journey, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) from Osmania University from 1998 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Phani Karra has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed certifications in "Building Impact Scorecards for Positive Vendor Performance" and "Understand and Mitigate Data Privacy Risks" from AOTMP. In 2007, they earned a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and a Lean Kaizen Expert certification from Genpact. In 2006, Phani obtained the ITIL Foundations Certification (IT Information Library) from Genpact as well.
