Salahuddin Saiphy is an experienced professional in water management, currently serving as Principal Lead at S M Sehgal Foundation since September 2009. In this role, Salahuddin has held various titles including Director, Senior Manager for Projects in South India, Project Leader, and Programme Leader, focusing on rural water management initiatives such as source augmentation, wastewater disposal, safe drinking water provisions, and capacity building for communities. Prior to this, Salahuddin worked at the Centre for Science and Environment in New Delhi from March 2003 to September 2009 as Assistant Coordinator for the Water Unit, leading campaigns on rainwater harvesting across diverse project scales.
