Malven Mushayi is an experienced agricultural professional specializing in crop improvement and research. Currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Seedco, Zimbabwe since June 2014, Malven develops and evaluates improved crop varieties suited for global conditions. Prior experience includes roles as a Trials Agronomist and Research Maize Technician at Seed Co, where responsibilities involved linking agronomy research with crop breeding programs and managing data collection for breeding trials, respectively. Malven also has experience as a Horticultural Field Assistant with Exhort Enterprises and as an Agro-industrial attachee focusing on seed production. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Plant Breeding from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, along with multiple degrees and certifications in agriculture and project management from the University of Zimbabwe and Chibero College of Agriculture.
