Marcel Dasen has a diverse and extensive work experience. Marcel began their career in 1990 as a Software Engineer at ABB. Marcel then worked as a Software Engineer at Hiware AG, where they were responsible for designing and implementing C-Language compilers and debugging tools. In 1996, they joined the Federal Institute of Technology ETH Zurich as a Researcher. Two years later, they became a Principal at Smartlink Engineering.

In 2000, Dasen joined BridgeCo as the Head of Software Engineering, where they managed a team of engineers and established partnerships with key market players. Marcel later became the VP of Engineering at BridgeCo, overseeing a cross-functional team and contributing to the development of digital entertainment networking platforms.

In 2007, Dasen founded Rigisystems and served as the Chairman of the Board and Owner. In 2013, they additionally took on the role of CTO and Owner at Rigisystems. During their time at Rigisystems, they were responsible for overall management and ownership of the company.

Since 2014, Dasen has been working at Securosys SA as the VP of Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for product and solutions definition, design and engineering, as well as managing device production and production logistics teams. Securosys is a leading Swiss manufacturer of high assurance hardware security appliances and security-as-a-service solutions.

Marcel Dasen pursued their education from 1988 to 1994 at ETH Zürich, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
