Esel De Sagun-Madrid is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, analytics, and management consulting. Esel currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Data Science & AI Center of Excellence at Security Bank Corporation, having previously held key positions at Metrobank, where responsibilities included leading Data Science and Advanced Analytics. With a background as a management consultant for both individual consulting projects and a-connect, Esel specialized in optimizing revenue through advanced analytics solutions. Esel also held roles in inventory management and distribution analysis at The Vitamin Shoppe, contributing to significant improvements in inventory accuracy and operational efficiencies. Esel co-founded BrightCloud Inc and has academic experience as a lecturer at the University of the Philippines. Esel holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy, graduating Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines.
