Matteo Ho is an Assistant Counsel at the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) since December 2022, with prior experience as Senior Government Counsel (Acting) and Government Counsel at The Hong Kong Department of Justice from December 2015 to August 2021. In this role, Matteo defended complex judicial reviews and claims, obtained urgent injunctive reliefs, and acted as advocate in various legal hearings. Matteo's earlier experience includes serving as a Pupil Barrister at The Hong Kong Department of Justice, where tasks included prosecuting at magistrates' courts and assisting in drafting legal documents. Matteo holds a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Hong Kong, among other legal qualifications.
