Akshita Mathur is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in regional security advising, particularly in the APAC region. Currently serving as the Regional Security Advisor for LinkedIn at Securitas India since July 2021, Akshita leads the security function across seven countries, focusing on establishing and maintaining high safety and security standards. Prior to this, Akshita worked with Pinkerton, where responsibilities included developing site security plans and conducting threat analyses. With a background in intelligence and due diligence from previous roles at International SOS and Hill & Associates, as well as academic credentials including a Master's in Geopolitics and International Relations from Manipal Academy and a Bachelor's in Political Science from St. Xavier's College Mumbai, Akshita brings a comprehensive understanding of security dynamics and risk management.
