Sophonia Hardaway, CISM, CASP has been in the IT security industry since 2009. Sophonia began their career as a Senior Risk Manager at Secure Innovations, LLC, where they established and maintained a security posture that supported appropriate, demonstrable, and coordinated security policies. In 2017, they became the Business Owner of The UPS Store #6847 through small business MO-NEL Holdings LLC. This minority- and woman-owned retail location serves the Red Run Center in Owings Mills and provides all standard UPS Store services like mailboxes, printing, shipping, and more.

Sophonia Hardaway holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Loyola University Maryland, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. Sophonia also holds the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA and the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) certification from CompTIA.
